臺灣由於地形變化豐富，高爾夫球場各具特色，位於丘陵地者球道高低落差大富挑戰性，位於臨海峭壁上者視野開闊，位於平原者充滿熱帶氣息，帶給球友們不同的打球樂趣，加上一年四季都適合下場揮桿的氣候，以及各國觀光客讚不絕口的美食，豐富而多種類型的溫泉資源，還有多元的文化、多變的自然景觀及好客熱情的人民，構成一個多采多姿的高爾夫旅程，相信一定可以吸引眾多國外球友來臺暢打滿意而歸。

中華民國高爾夫球場事業協進會對促進高爾夫產業的發展，一向不遺餘力，近年來更為了提升各球場的國際競爭力及國際行銷能力，每年舉辦高爾夫菁英論壇，廣邀國內外專家及業者，研商提升球場設施及服務品質與國際接軌，令人感佩，協進會的努力同時也促進了臺灣觀光事業的發展，特藉此機會表達深切的謝意，並衷心祝賀大會順利圓滿成功。

Thanks to Taiwan’s richly varied terrain, each of our golf courses has its own distinct character. Courses located on hilly land feature fairways that rise and fall sharply in elevation, making them highly challenging; those perched on sea cliffs offer magnificent views; and those lying on the plains are filled with a tropical atmosphere that brings a different kind of golfing pleasure. Taiwan is additionally blessed with weather that suits golfing all year round, delicious cuisine that is universally praised by visitors, and a rich diversity of hot springs, along with a multifaceted culture, natural scenery in all shapes and forms, and friendly, welcoming people. All of this together makes for golfing itineraries that are rich in variety, and I’m confident that more and more golfers will come and play our courses to their full satisfaction.
